Setting up a MAG box

A MAG box does not use a username and password: it is recognised by its MAC address.

Before ordering

Find the MAC address on the sticker under the box (it looks like 00:1A:79:12:34:56) and enter it in the order form for that device. We register it for you.

After you receive your email

  1. On the box, open Settings → System settings → Servers → Portals.
  2. In "Portal 1 URL", enter the portal URL from your email.
  3. Save and restart the box.

The channel list loads after the restart. If you see "MAC address not found", check that the MAC in your order is exactly the one on the box and contact us.
